Bailey is thrown into her biggest mystery after an attempted kidnapping ends with her becoming a “prisoner” in an unfamiliar life of wealth with a family that she never even knew existed.
Add in Kashton/Kash, “Leave with me, meet your father, or disappear with your mother.” The corner of his mouth tugged up in a smirk.”Your choice.”
But has Bailey made the wrong choice, should she have stayed with her mom, hoping to survive another kidnapping attempt, or deal with being an “outlier” .
Tijan grabs the reader from the beginning with the suspense of an attempted kidnapping, and continues to keep the reader’s interest and suspense all throughout the book. And ending with a cliffhanger just leaves us begging for more, and begging for it quickly too.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Outsider but also ALL of Tijan books! You will not be disappointed!
